She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Beutel and Maria Paucker Beutel; and her husband Robert "Bob" F. Vaughn. She is survived by: her sons, David Vaughn (Ellen) of Raleigh, NC and Kevin Vaughn (Binh Tong) of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Kirk Vaughn, Eric Vaughn and Melissa Ramsey; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Robert Ramsey and Rowan Vaughn.
