He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyce Dawkins and Julia Dawkins; and his brothers, Tommy and Steve Mitchum. He is survived by: his wife Linda; and his siblings, Donald E. Mitchum and Judy M. Mosley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
