It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Hollingsworth (Myrtle Beach, South Carolina), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on July 21, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Charles Clark; her husband Donald M. Hollingsworth; and her brother Doctor Charles I. Switzer. She is survived by: her parent Bernice Irene McGowan Switzer; her children, Michael Hollingsworth, Matthew Hollingsworth (Pamela) and Christy Hollingsworth Bellamy (Fred); her grandchildren, Phoebe Hollingsworth, Kaytlin Morris (Justin), Dylan Swartz (Nichole), Dalton Hollingsworth, Luke Rankin and Hollings Rankin; and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Switzer, Thelma Solomon, Doctor Joseph Solomon, Evelyn Dettman, James Hollingsworth and Ardis Hollingsworth.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 1300 North Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577, where Mary was a long standing member of the choir.
