She was predeceased by: her parents, Baxter C. Shelton and Elvie Thompson Shelton; her sister Jane; and her brother-in-law William Robert Shaffer of High Point, NC.. She is survived by: her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Bobbie Stanton of Amelia Island, FL; her daughter Leigh Stanton; her son-in-law Shawn Ison of Easley, SC; her sister Margaret; her brother-in-law Gene Simpson of Spartanburg, SC; her brother Baxter W.; her sister-in-law Sarannet Shelton of Kannapolis, NC; and her grandsons, Alex Stanton (Shelby), Chase Ison and Reid Ison. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
