She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna DeVries and Jan DeVries; her siblings, Andries and Annelies; and her daughter-in-law Mary.
She is survived by: her spouse Cornelis "Neal" Gielstra; and her children, Simon (Kelly), Glenn (Erin), Johan (Dianna) and Annette. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
