She was predeceased by: her parents, Joyce Ellis and William Ellis; and her stepfather James Quattlebaum (QB). She is survived by: her son John "Marc" Barnes (Stephanie); her grandsons, Stephen and Matthew; her sister Marsha Renigar; her children, J. J. and Kevin; her brother Marc J. Ellis (Janet); and her nieces and nephews, Ashley and Ryan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First Church of Myrtle Beach or the Myrtle Beach Animal Shelter.
