She was predeceased by: her mother Rachael A. Stith Thompson; and also Cary Thompson II. She is survived by: her father Jack L. Thompson Sr.; her significant other Paul Lopes; her mother-in-law Jane Humphries; her siblings, Cary Thompson Sr. (Katherine Borchers), Craig Thompson (Tami), Jackie Thompson Jr. (Tammy), William Thompson (Todd Adams) and Amanda T. Coyner (Mark); and also Skyler Foster.

A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Southern Palms Memorial Gardens (4512 Poinsett St, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582).
