It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Burris Chitwood (Myrtle Beach, South Carolina), who passed away on December 7, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gatha Howell Austin and Fred Austin of Washington. She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Ellen Huneycutt, Imogene Jordan and Hilda Thompson; her children, Dannie Burris Jr. of Charlotte, NC. and Amy Elizabeth Thornton (Chris) of Myrtle Beach, SC.; her grandchildren, Jesse, Corey, Brittany, Sara and Lauren; her great grandchildren, Layla, John-Wyatt, Amber, Tripp and Elliana; and her brother Ronald Austin (Gail).
