He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kaye Bise Short; his children, Jessica Short Carr (Gino) and Michael Jones; his grandchildren, Joseph Sisson-Short, Jeanna Sisson-Short, Dakota Vaiese, Mason Jones and Maddox Jones; his siblings, Morgan Short (Judy), Ann Bishop, Loretta Johnson (Henry G.), Linda Carter (Dwight), Janet Sims (Earl) and Mary Hensley (Joe); and his pet Roxie.
