He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Barnes Turner; his father Holsey Turner; his grandparents, Calvin, Charlotte Pointer and Kevin; his mother Jacqueline P. Turner of Orangeburg, SC; his sister Evangeline "Angel" Pointer of Charlotte, NC; his aunt Sally L. Pointer of New York; his cousins, Jeffrey Pointer (Tawanie) of Gaston, SC, Jacqueline P. McCloud of Myrtle Beach, SC and Evangeline Pointer (Renee) of Charlotte, NC; his brother Eric Turner of New York; and his godmother Katherine Gibson of New York.
