He was predeceased by: his parents, Courtney Robey and Helen Robey; his son Robert "Bobby" Robey of Harrisonburg, VA; and his brother Ronald "Ronnie" Robey. He is survived by: his wife June; his children, Denise Franco (Carlos) of Brentsville, VA, Dennis Harris (Dena) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Anissa Robey of Harrisonburg, VA, Melissa "Missy" Robey of Harrisonburg, VA, Melinda "Mindy" Robey of Harrisonburg, VA and Cynthia "Cindy" Chestnut (Dale) of Harrisonburg, VA; his grandson Zachary Franco (Katie); his children, Dylan Franco (Julie), Emma Harris, Kaine Harris, Devin Rakentine (Chelsea), Klarissa Rakentine, Brandi Rakentine (Dustin), Kenneth Robey, III, Emilee Chestnut (Hanna), Tracey Robey (Alex), Brittney Robey (Ashley), Sabrinah Kellam (George), Chelsea Robey and Nicole Robey; his siblings, Beverly Blanton, Sheila Sullivan (Ronald), Terrence Robey (Andrea) and Gerald Robey (Michelle); and his siblings-in-law, James Roark and Jean Roark. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel (11528 Hwy 17, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Goldfinch Funeral Home Beach Chapel (11528 Hwy 17, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Horry County Animal Care Center (horrycountysc.gov/departments/animal-care-center/) or Meals on Wheels of Horry, County (https://mowhc.org) in loving memory of Kenneth Robey.
