She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hanna and Helen Porter Hanna; and her brother Thomas Hanna. She is survived by: her husband Charles F. Szeg; her children, Kevan Shaffer (Victor Duncan) of Kittanning, Kristine Britt (Cliff) of Butler, Kary Barker of Myrtle Beach, S. C. and Jon Kilner of Zelienople; her stepson Vance Szeg of Zelienople; her granddaughters, Cheyenne Shaffer, Jaymi and Julia Tush; and her sister Beverly Miller.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. (238 Crowe Ave, Mars, PA 16046). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
