She was predeceased by: her parents, Aldon K. Smith and Maude Edmundson Smith; her brother Tony Smith of Goldsboro; and her former husband Wilson Morris Summerlin I.. She is survived by: her brother Reggie Smith (Hope); her son Jason; her sister-in-law Kay Smith; her children, Sandy, Brent and Wilson Morris Summerlin II (Miriam); her grandson Matthew (Suzie); her great grandchild Judah; her children, Lindsey, Madison, Zoey, Gracie and Jonathan Van Summerlin (Lori Ann); her stepdaughter Ashley Kay Duncan; her daughter Michelle; and her grandchildren, David and Brianna.
