It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Ann Sword in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Sword; and her parents, Paul I. Cooke and Elsie E. Joynes Cooke. She is survived by: her sister Kay Alderson; her daughter Terri Tolar (Sam); her grandchildren, Cole (Julia) and Courtney; and her siblings, Betty Thompson, Connie Evans and Paul Cooke (Joann). She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
