It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Joseph Pinkas of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew J. Pinkas and Frances Havlik Pinkas; and his wife Mary E. Pinkas. He is survived by: his children, John J. Pinkas, Jr. (Sharon) of East Earl, PA, Jerry Pinkas (Shelia) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Joan Pinkas of Forest Hill, MD; his sisters, Agnes McCann of Hackensack, NJ and Frances Hergenhahn of Baltimore, MD; and his grandchildren, Sophia Balat, Abigail Sterbenz, Isabella Pinkas, John J. Pinkas, III and Joshua Pinkas. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
