It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Peter Shumsky Jr. (Myrtle Beach, South Carolina), born in Hudson, New York, who passed away on August 25, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Robert "Butch" Shumsky. He is survived by: his friend John; his daughter Jennifer; his wife Sandra; his son Daniel; his grandchildren, Sherry Haddad, Richard and Ryan Kozel; his great grandchildren, Max, Kate, River, Jack and Layla; his son-in-law Christopher Covert; his sisters, Mary Anne Vieni, Kathleen Hermance and Maureen Scott; and also Eric Henderson.
