With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanette Peacock Benton (Myrtle Beach, South Carolina), born in Bennettsville, South Carolina, who passed away on April 29, 2023 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Peacock and Eleanor Peacock; and her son Jamie Benton. She is survived by: her husband Wilbur Benton; her children, Mark Richards (Donna Todd), Dawn Richards, Cathie Tyler (Danny), Warren Richards (Kim) and Terry Powers; her daughter-in-law Priscilla Benton; her brother Douglas Peacock (Betty); her sister-in-law Button Benton Boyd; and her grandchildren, Ricky Mumford (Ashley), Kevin Barrington (Libby), Chris Richards (Chantal), Samantha Benton and Madison Strickland (Tyler). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
