Jean M. King Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Jean M. King (Myrtle Beach, South Carolina), born in Hiwassee, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Jean farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jean is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mason James and Edith Lawson Mabe; her siblings, Dawn Mabe and James Mason Mabe; and her son-in-law Tommy Parrish.
She is survived by: her children, Gwen K Parrish and Michael King (Victoria). She is also survived by grandchildren, three precious great-grandchildren and several neice's and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (3810 Robert M Grissom Pkwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577). Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach (3810 Robert M Grissom Pkwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM at 1803 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
In lieu of flowers, Jean and the family would like to have donations made in her name to Together We Give Foundation, a 501c3 charitable organization that gives locally to children, citizens, and originations in need.
