She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph William Stephenson Sr. and Eloise Powe Stephenson; her siblings, Joseph William Stephenson, Jr. (Bill), Oscar Powe Stephenson and Nancy Deborah Stephenson Young; and her grandson Austin Lynn Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Smith; her children, George Wilkins, Emilee McCracken (John McCracken) and Leigh Smith Howell; and her grandchildren, Hayden Elizabeth Heatherly, Jared Stephenson McCracken, Rachel Lane Howell, Elizabeth Jayne McCracken and Bella Zoe Wilkins. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Methodist Church of Myrtle Beach, SC. (901 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577). Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church of Myrtle Beach (901 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First Methodist Church Music Ministry or Missions.
