He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wallace Esler, Sr. and Virginia Lillian Esler (McGlasson). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Riegle Esler; his children, Beth Myers (Joseph) and Bill; his grandchildren, Nathalie, Christopher and Viviane; and his siblings-in-law, Dan and Jill.
