He is survived by: his children, James "Jimmy" Caples, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, Lawrence Eugene "Gene" Caples of Florence, Paul Bartlette of Sumter and Barbara Saverance of Florence; and his sisters, Judy Hershberger of Manning and Earline Tennant of Summerton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
