She was predeceased by: her parents, Maggie Huffman and Ollie Huffman; and her brothers, Basil, Vertice and Cluie.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Mason III (Lori), Evelyn Lester (Richard) and Gayle Canaday (Charles); her grandchildren, Katherine Edge (Cam), Rett Bryant, Charles Canaday III, Allen Canaday (Sarah Grace), Lilli Canaday, Scarlette Shirley (Jarrod) and Savannah Mason; and her great grandchildren, Carter Edge, Palmer Edge, Eleanor Shirley, Witt Shirley and Collins Canaday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Amedisys Hospice.
