He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Taft Austin and Camille Walter Anderson; and his son Nicholas Scott Austin. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Austin; his siblings, Janet Hudson and Stephen Austin; his son Jeffrey Austin; and his grandson Landon Austin.
