He was predeceased by: his parents, Bentley Gordon Gibson, Sr. and Mary Delgar Brown; his wife Marean Gibson; his siblings, Bentley Gibson, Bill Gibson, Edward Gibson and Harriett Gibson; his son-in-law Mack Edward Wood, Jr.; and his pet Grier.
He is survived by: his children, Tamara Wood of Myrtle Beach, SC, Bentley Gibson (Nancy) of Easley, SC and Michael Gibson (Lisa) of Easley, SC; his grandsons, Brock Gibson (Laura) of Moore, SC, Taylor Gibson (Kayla) and Dalton Wood of Myrtle Beach; his great grandchildren, Maddox, Micah, Levi, Judson, Ollie and Hazel; his nieces and nephews, Mark, Dale, John, Manning, Jennifer, Kristi and Dana; and his brother-in-law Harold Kay.
