He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Joseph McCaffrey and Mary Elizabeth Lee McCaffrey; his brothers, Patrick McCaffrey and Arthur McCaffrey; and his stepson Sean Albanese.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria J. McCaffrey of Myrtle Beach, SC; his children, Michael McCaffrey (Angela) of Hackettstown, NJ and Christine Miller (Bill) of Great Meadows, NJ; his sister Veronica Howard (Art) of Leland, NC; and his grandchildren, Jason Miller, Allyson Miller, Joey McCaffrey and Michael McCaffrey.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made in Francis' name to the Alzheimer's Association, https://act.alz.org.
