She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Belle and Gilbert Chavis; her husband Berle Zimmerman; and her sister Geneva Harwell (Chavis). She is survived by: her children, Edward Zimmerman (Karen Zimmerman), Renee Zimmerman and Greg Zimmerman (Laura Zimmerman); and her grandchild Cathlynn.
