She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Hill and Hazel Hodges Hill; her husbands, James Randall Snyder (Randy) and Charles Thompson; her sons, Randall Lane Snyder and Russell Wayne Snyder (Rusty); her stepson Kevin Thompson; and her siblings, Emogene Drew and Charles Edward Hodges (Eddie).
She is survived by: her son Dr. Richard Gale Snyder of Myrtle Beach, SC; her stepdaughter Helen Canterbury (Tom) of Wirtz, VA; and her sister Drema Bias Evans of Beckley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
