He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Heil and Ruth Heil; his brother William Heil; and his daughter Mary Ellen Scardo. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Edward (Rona), Carolyn (Ronald) and Cynthia (Mark); his son-in-law Frank Scardo; his grandchildren, Christopher (Lauren), Benjamin, Maureen (Patrick), Marianne, Shannon (Jack), Kelly, Edward and Eric; and his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Reid.
