He was predeceased by: his parents, Dozier Grissett and Amanda Grissett; and his sons, Sammy Grissett and Kinbell Campbell. He is survived by: his children, Linda Dickerson, Dean Grissett, Mildred Carrequello, Cynthia Grissett, Loretta Campbell, Janice Grissett and Kim Grissett; his goddaughter Edith; his son Marcus Grissett; his siblings, Fannie Jackson, Mary King, Phyllis Gardner, Margaret Williams, Joe Grissett, Cleveland Grissett and Carroll Grissett; his siblings-in-law, Carrie Grissett, Loretta Grissett, Odessa Grissett, Louise Grissett, Vonnie Harris, Cleo Williams, Earl King, Clayton Williams and Charles King; and his friend Carolyn Keith (Kenneth Finkley). He is also survived by 3 sons-in-law, 25 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren.
