He is survived by: his wife Brenda Shirkey of Myrtle Beach, SC; his children, Breann Green of Beckley, WV, Bryan Shirkey of Beckley, WV, Jennifer Ball of Beckley, WV and Emily Garten; his siblings, Donald Shirkey and Laura Ann Toney of Beckley, WV; his sister-in-law Sybil Shirkey of Boiling Springs, SC; his grandchildren, Ethan Ball, Kaydn Ball, Fenix Garten, Serina Garten, Jacob Ball, Corey Ball and Gabe Ball; his great grandchildren, Liam and Annabella; and his son-in-law Thomas Ball of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also survived by seven nieces & nephews.
