David left this world on December 5, 2024 at the age of 60, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his father Wallace Green; his grandparents, Hurley Sr. and Dora Poole; his uncle Curtis Poole; his parents-in-law, Gail and Scott Stamper; and his close friend Mark Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Payne; his children, Billy Carroll (Mona Quesinberry) of Galax, Michelle Blackburn (Jimmy) of Myrtle Beach, S. C. and Kimberly Reeves (Justin) of Supply, N. C.; his grandmother Mary Louise Green; his grandchildren, Adreana Hinkley, Abigayle Blackburn and Tobias Reeves; his great grandchildren, Aubree, Lyndsi and Braedon Hinkley; and his siblings, Wayne (Barbara Green), Gary Green, Allen Green and Vanessa (Rick Bryant).
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lewis Crematory & Funeral Services (4947 Hwy 17, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577).
