He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Shannon and Theresa Shannon; and his siblings, Walt Shannon and Carole Dwyer. He is survived by: his sons, Douglas Shannon of Camillus, Michael Shannon (Angie) of Queen Creek, AZ and Patrick Shannon (Kelley) of Albany; his granddaughter Julia Shannon; his sister Martha Meegan (Dan) of Gulfport, FL; and his brother-in-law Bob Dwyer of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
