He is survived by: his wife Odessar Grissett; his children, Kim Grissett-Rutledge (Glenn) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Theresa Grissett of Myrtle Beach, SC, Ashley Grissett of Myrtle Beach, SC and Andra Grissett-Ray (Dameon) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Latisha Rutledge, Tyree Rutledge of Myrtle Beach, SC, De'Antre Patterson of Charlotte, NC, Jaylen Ray of Charlotte, NC, Brenden Ray of Charlotte, NC, Shaun Ray of Charlotte, NC and Jream Mason; his siblings, Fannie Jackson of Myrtle Beach, SC, Mary King (Earl) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Phyllis Gardner of Myrtle Beach, SC, Margaret Williams (Cleodus) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Doris Williams (Clayton) of Columbia, SC, Joe Grissett of Myrtle Beach, SC and Cleveland Grissett (Loretta) of Greenville, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Emma Graham (Randolph) of Longs, SC, Dares Mczeke (Jimmy) of Longs, SC, Judy McCall of Longs, SC, Carrie Grissett and Louise Grissett of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home (1212 Carver St, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at 307 Ronald McNair Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.
