We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Carolyn Walker Maxey of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, born in Thomasville, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Walker and Lunnie Mae Smyly Walker; her husband Charles D. Maxey; and her siblings, G. B. Walker Jr. and Betty Ann Jordan.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Joe Tyler, Stephanie Karnap (Terry), Angela Martin (Doug) and Chad Maxey; her grandchildren, Shane Thomas, Brandon Eason, Dylan Martin, Walker Martin and Hailee Karnap; and her great grandchildren, Kenneth Eason and Johnathan Eason. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Carolyn's honor to the Alzheimer's Association (http://www.alz.org).
