She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius B. Hyman and Ruby Jordan Hyman; her daughter Vicki Jane Elvis; her siblings, Donald Hyman, Carl Hyman, Winnie Ruth Willis, Bessie Lee Hathaway and Lina Mae Hanzley; and her grandson Marcus Elvis.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Martin of Myrtle Beach; her grandchild Tamira Ramsey; and her great grandchildren, Ansley, Mitchell, Orrin, Lauren, Trenton, Marcus, Kortnee and Baylee.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Betty's name to the Juniper Bay Baptist Church Building Fund, 5265 Juniper Bay Road, Conway, SC 29527.
