We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2024, at the age of 80, Beecher Richard Helms of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, born in Gastonia, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Helms (Syble Adams) and Dick; his former wife Lee Helms; and his daughter Cynthia Helms. He is survived by: his children, David Helms (Stephanie) and Katherine Testa (Kenny); and his wife Janice Helms.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a veterans' charity of your choice, reflecting Dick's lifelong dedication to supporting his fellow servicemen and women.
