She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jim" T. Wise and Ruth McCutcheon Wise Rogers; her husband Wilmont "Bill" McElveen; and her siblings, Marion Parnell Hoch, Elaine Teal, J. T. Wise, Jr. and Billy Wise.
She is survived by: her children, Melsa McElveen Matthews (Bob) of Ladson, SC, Cassandra Ruth McElveen Martin (Bruce) of Greenville, SC and Dennis W. McElveen (Pam) of Murrells Inlet, SC; her grandchildren, Lori Matthews Murphy, Rebecca Matthews Gilbert, Sara Elizabeth Martin, Dr. Will Martin, Christy Martin, Catherine Martin, Will McElveen and Drew McElveen; and her sister Geri Wise Atkins Storm of Garden City, SC. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
