She was predeceased by: her father Martin Leon Carter, Sr.; and her siblings, Claude D. Carter, Martin L. Carter, Jr. and E. Currin Carter. She is survived by: her son Leon Parrott of Myrtle Beach; her granddaughters, Laney Parrott (Caitlin) of Woodbridge, VA, Ruthie Kline (Nathan), Myrtle Beach and Maggie Parrott of Richmond, VA; and also Susan Davidson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nephews.
