With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Worth Cooper Lawhon of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, who passed away on February 10, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeb Lance and Nellie Osborne Lawhon; his former wife Carol Lawhon; and also Jonell Lawhon. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lawhon of Murrells Inlet, SC; his sons, Marshall Lawhon and David Lawhon (Ellen); his grandchildren, Eric, Alex Lawhon and Wendy Lawhon; his stepchildren, Brad Clayton and Franchelle Stevens (Todd); his stepgrandchildren, Nickolas, Winona Clayton, Hudson and Brooklyn Stevens; and his great grandchild Stan Lawhon.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Burroughs Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
