He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marilyn Gifford (Sprague) and Henry Gifford; his children, Heather Cawley (John), Henry Gifford, Rachel Gifford Groningen (Louis) and Netherlands; his stepchildren, Alexandra Lalli Middletown (Rob) and Jilda Lalli; his grandchildren, Matison Slagle and John Wayne Cawley; his sister Karen Tessitore (Joe); his brother-in-law James Connell (Cathy); his niece Jennifer Tessitore; and his friend Jim Meyer. He was also cherished by many Aunts and uncles, 40 first cousins.
