He is survived by: his wife Fay Martin Shoemaker; his daughters, Tracy Dugan (Mike) of Myrle Beach and Stephanie Haynes (Chris) of Myrtle Beach; his grandchildren, Christian of Myrtle Beach, Abby of Myrtle Beach, Ryan of Myrtle Beach and Emma of Myrtle Beach; his stepchildren, Dawn Moats (Terry) of Knoxville and Doug Martin of Murrells Inlet; his siblings, Jimmy Shoemaker of Martinsville, VA, Grace Ann Mooney (Mike) of Pennington Gap, VA. and David Shoemaker (Judy) of Pennington Gap, VA.; and his sister-in-law Debi Spangler of Surfside Beach.
