It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Ann Powers of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, born in Ilion, New York, who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Drake and Gladys Drake; her husband Herbert James Powers; her son Gerald Powers; and her granddaughter Melanie Powers.

She is survived by: her children, Ann Marie Readler of Murrells and Michael K. Powers of Hinesville, GA; her brother Glen Drake of New Hartford, NY; and her grandchildren, Ashley M. Readler of Richmond, VA, Pierre U. Powers of Arlington, VA and Daniel Powers of Hinesville, GA. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
