We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2023, Shirley Waites Dickert of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Waites and Frances Waites; and her brother Robert Waites. She is survived by: her husband Bacil Dickert; her children, Deborah (Raymond), Bacil Jr. and Laura Ann (Jim); her grandchildren, Chris (Kobi), Lindsay (Lee), Sarah (Jameson), Jennifer, Brittany and Tom; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Layne, Brooks and Lyla; and her brother Julius Durham Waites.
Covid may have kept Shirley housebound for the past couple of years, but she never lost her quick wit and sense of humor.
