She was predeceased by: her parents, John Messenger and Margaret Messenger (Wastak); her husband Donald; her sister Joyce Elliott (Messenger); and her niece JoAnn Elliott.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Kilroy (Lisa) of Clifton and Dr. Valerie R. Kilroy (R. Vance Butts Jr.) of Florence, SC; her grandsons, Matthew and John Kilroy; her brother Robert Messenger (Sophie) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and her nieces, Jacqueline Macphee (Mike), Laurie Messenger (Scott), Linda Leiker (Fabian), Cindy Messenger and Debbie Sellers (Jon).
