It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy M. Laye Jr. (Murrells Inlet, South Carolina), who passed away on May 18, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Anne (Vivian); his children, Kevin, Taylor and Mandy; his stepdaughters, Courtney and Lindsay; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Jaxson, Savannah and Elliott; his father Roy Sr.; his grandparents, Lawson and Eva Henderson; and his wife Vivian Laye.

In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that a donation be made in Butch's name to either Tunnel to Towers (http://www.t2t.org) or Hope 4 Gaston (http://www.hope4gaston.com).
