He was predeceased by: his parent Marion Evelyn Donaldson; his son Robert Donaldson, Jr.; his sister Mary Evelyn Schronce; and his nephew Ricky Schronce. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Donaldson of Murrells Inlet, SC; his daughter Sandy Whittington (Christopher); his sister Carol Krueger; his grandchildren, Madie, Colter, Maxwell, Robin and Nik; his stepchildren, Danny Shea, Bridget Coppola (Frank), Shawn McKee-Winters (Mike), Shannon Hansen (Chad) and Christi Goodwyn; and his stepgrandchildren, Stephanie, Cassandra, Kaylee, Anthony, Sophie, Kristopher, Ella, Savannah, Jasmine and Maliah. He is also survived by six step great grandchildren.
