He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schuler and Emily Schuler (Schauder); his wife Rosemarie Schuler (Snow); his siblings, William, Robert Schuler and Mary Carr; and his grandson Brian M.
He is survived by: his son Richard J. Schuler, Jr. (Hope) of Marion, IN; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Schuler (William) and Marie (Robert); and his grandchildren, Brooke N. Stephens of Nashville, TN, Jessica Hartman (Abe) of Brookline, NH, Stephen Schuler of Fort Lauderdale, FL, R. Scott Schuler (Alexandra) of Sweetser, IN and Brandon Schuler of Pittsburgh, PA.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
