He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Hunter and Marie Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Sara Hunter (Sally); his sister Kathy; his brother-in-law Jim; his brother Jerry; his sister-in-law Ruby; his nieces and nephews, Paul Murphy, Richard Hunter (Abbey), Erik Hunter (Lauryn), Jeremy Toner, Grey Culbreth Jr., Jackie Russo (Chris), Danielle Jewel (Kyle), Alexa and Layla Toner; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaitlyn, Kristina, Kathleen Russo, Charlie, Ellie, Margot Hunter, Holly and Henry Jewel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Goldfinch Funeral Home Beach Chapel (11528 Hwy 17, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Florence National Cemetery (803 E National Cemetery Rd, Florence, SC 29506).
