He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Routh and Lillian Routh; his daughter Tonya Michelle Routh; and his siblings, Odell, Elmer, John, Bruce, Garland Routh and Marie Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Anne Routh of Pawleys Island; his children, Steve Routh (Karen) of Asheboro, NC and Anita Walker (Jonathan) of Franklinville, NC; his grandchildren, Hunter Routh of Asheboro, NC, Kalista Routh of Asheboro, NC, Candace Jones of Asheboro, NC, Cory Walker (Kailey) of Randleman, NC, Adam Walker (Kayden) of Asheboro, NC and Ariana Walker of Franklinville, NC; his great grandchildren, Kinzley, Marshall and Casper Walker; and his brother Sam Routh (Charlotte) of Franklinville, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
