She was predeceased by: her parents, Dillon Cox and Mollie Cox; her husband Carroll Edwin Caverly Jr.; and her brothers, Troy Cox, D. J. Cox, Weston Cox, Vance Cox, David Cox and John R. Cox.

She is survived by: her sisters, Hilda Overmyer of Socastee and Carolyn Clifton of Myrtle Beach. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
